Tongod, Sabah – As part of its ongoing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) commitment, Borneo Cement (Sabah) Sdn Bhd has donated three (3) 14-seater vans to three (3) secondary schools in Tongod to support their school activities and student programmes.

The handovers were officiated by YB Datuk Masiung Banah, Kuamut Assemblyman and Director of Borneo Cement (Sabah) Sdn Bhd, and witnessed by Chief Minister of Sabah, YAB Datuk Seri Panglima Haji Hajiji Haji Noor, reflecting a shared commitment to supporting education and community development in Tongod.

The vans, delivered to:
• SMK Entilibon (15th May 2022)
• SMK Penangah (23rd September 2023)
• SMK Tongod (27th April 2024)

are intended for the schools’ use in transporting students to participate in co-curricular activities, educational programmes, competitions and official school events. By improving mobility, the initiative helps ensure students have greater opportunities to represent their schools, gain exposure and build confidence beyond the classroom.
